The hosts take on longarm quilting topics including computerized quilting, custom quilting, and quilting as a business.

Meet the Digital Diary Hosts

DeWayne Carron

DeWayne Carron is a professional longarm quilter. He and his wife, Jan, own Cross & Crown Quilting in New Melle, Missouri. DeWayne is a Gammill Statler owner and pattern designer. As an educator, DeWayne focuses on machine maintenance, computerized quilting and pattern design in Gammill’s CreativeStudio.  Read more about DeWayne.

Karen Farnsworth

As a long-time Statler owner, Karen’s passion is helping other Gammill owners love their machines. Karen is also an authorized Gammill sub-dealer for Gammill Midwest and has worked for Gammill Inc. creating education materials, teaching Statler and CreativeStudio classes, and providing phone and on-site support to Statler owners. Karen bought her first Gammill Quilting machine in 2006. She has been designing and selling digital quilting patterns through her website, WildflowerQuilting.com, since 2007. She now lives in rural Northeast Missouri where she and her husband ranch and raise their three kids. Read more about Karen.

Page Johnson

Page is a professional long-arm quilter from Minnesota. She’s been quilting most of her life and began her professional career in 2001, gaining valuable experience in free-motion quilting. She works full-time as a quilter for customers throughout the Twin Cities area and beyond. In 2006 she expanded her creativity and knowledge by mastering the Gammill computerized system, the Statler Stitcher. She continues, as she has for many years, to create award-winning quilts in national quilt shows. She is an internationally known teacher for both free-motion and computerized quilting. Christine Perrigo

Christine Perrigo is an award-winning, internationally exhibited longarm quilter and has been quilting since 2003. With a background in computer science and 15 years experience in the computer industry, she has a unique, highly technical approach to computerized quilting and surface design. She focuses on high end, custom digital quilting for modern quilts and approaches each quilt as opportunity to explore new territory and push boundaries.  Read more about Christine.

DeAnn Perrigo

Quilting is not only DeAnn’s passion, but a continuation of her Grandmother’s legacy. She has been quilting for more than 30 years and longarm quilting for since 2008.  Quilting in part of her heritage and she hopes that it is a legacy that she will be able to pass on to future generations. DeAnn’s Gammill Optimum with the Statler Stitcher enables her to personalize quilts by “drawing” with stitching in a freeform design, using designs purchased from artists who create patterns specifically for computerized longarm machines, as well as utilizing CreativeStudio to digitize and customize patterns to enhance a quilt’s beauty. Georgia Stull

Georgia Stull has been quilting on a Statler since 2006. She has also been a national and international instructor for the past 10 years is passionate about providing her students the tools to be successful. Georgia Stull has been a Gammill Certified Statler Instructor for more than 10 years and actively provides training to quilters worldwide. She is passionate about providing her students the tools and education to feel confident and successful. She teaches efficiency and effectiveness (without compromising quality!) so her students go home inspired, enabled and energized.  Read more about Georgia.
