A Quilter’s Story
By Michelle Grable
With three young children and a large family farm, quilting has given me a career I love that still allows me the flexibility to enjoy time with my family. Now, quilting has become an activity I can even share with my children. My oldest daughter finished her first quilt at the age of 9 for 4H. Now, both of my girls have completed quilts and even had them accepted into QuiltCon 2016 in California. Of 1,800 quilts that entered the show, only 350 were accepted and the girls had three of these.
All three of my children love the machine and with the durability of a Gammill, I know it can stand up to their use. To teach them to quilt is a great gift I can give to them; and, in the end, it brings us all closer together.
